Status: Adopted! Species: Dog Rescue ID: 18-0024 General Color: White with Tan, Yellow or Fawn Potential Size: 100 Pounds Current Age: 6 Years 8 Months (best estimate)

Roman is 4-5 months old, a Great Pyrenees/Hound mix. (photos of mom and dad both included below)

He will likely grow to be a BIG boy. He is presently in a foster home where he lives with 2 cats, they are co-habitating peacefully. He quickly learned to walk nicely on leash and learned "sit" after a short time. He is eager to please and to learn. He doesn't live with other dogs, but was very bonded to some of his littermates. He seems to like some of the dogs he meets on his walks, but is hesitant with others.

House training skills are rapidly improving (he came from a kennel to a home) and is being trained to ring a bell when he needs to go outside.

Roman is crate trained and his foster mom describes him as sweet and playful.

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
