Ayva is a 1 year old, 60 pound, young, muscular, energetic Treeing Walker Coonhound.
She has learned so much since she came to us! She is loving her foster home where she lives with 2 other dogs who she warmed up to very quickly. She brought some puppy playfulness to the male dog and became fast friends with the female dog and they all play well together. Her female foster sister is showing her the ropes of how to be a good girl and Ayva is picking up things quickly. She is doing well with house training and knows basic commands. She rides well in the car and is adjusting to living with a cat. She is learning to walk well on leash and loves games where she can user her natural coonhound nose abilities. Crate training is in progress, but at night she likes to sleep close to her foster mom.
Her foster mom is very pleased with her progress and comments what a special, beautiful girl she is with especially unique zig-zag markings on her back. She says that Ayva is very energetic and playful yet laid back and relaxed. She has established a healthy balance and becoming a very good dog!!!
