Are you looking for a friendly little lap dog companion? Well, if you are, Chewie could be the dog for you! He is a super sweet, just-the-right-size dog. He actually “smiles” at you when you talk to him. He loves to follow his human everywhere and always wants to know what's going on.
He's a smart, active 6 year old, 15 lb Chihuahua mix who loves to play. He even throws a ball for himself and chases it. A home with a fenced in yard is preferred due to his love of running around. He's a bit shy at first but warms up quickly, especially if you want to play. After play-time, he crashes on the couch for long naps!
Chewie is adjusting to living in a home after spending some of his life outside in a pen. House training is in the works and he knows how to use a doggie door to go in and out of the house. He is crate trained. He does fine with humans of all ages and is fine around cats. He would be fine as an only dog or as a companion to a female dog.
