Our family adopted Rowen, a long hair mini Dachshund at the end of March. We dealt with Heather Mausteller and she is a gem...Rowen has been a wonderful addition to our home...we love him and he is getting over some of his initial skiddishness and fitting right in!!! He is a real snugglebug!

Update on Maxi-mus who is not so mini-mus! He is a 10 yr old bundle of energy when it comes to chasing tires on a Lawn mower that is not running. My husband was putting away the lawn mower and he attacked the wheels like it was an unknown intruder. Thief's with lawn mowers beware! This little guy looks at you quizzically and tries to run with his big Weimaraner four legged foster family. The kids also are given a run for their money. He does not eat hard food too well but does well with moist food and canned food. What do you expect for a 10 yr old with old teeth! He would be a great companion for any one but especially if he is walked and he does very very well on a leash with a single friend and talked to . He loves it he tilts his head and stares at you with those little black Susan eyes!

I just wanted to thank Roe Wagner personally for bringing Petey to me at the exact minute I needed him. Petey was given to me the day before my husband passed away and I truly believe he was my last gift from my husband. Thank you Roe for helping fill that void in my heart.

I just want to thank you for bringing Eddie (formerly Rooney) into our home! He is such a good little boy! He loves his walks and has lots of energy. But he also enjoys snuggling and hanging out on the back of the sofa while we read or watch tv. I don't know what we did without him! Thanks also to his foster mom Heather for all of her support since Eddie came home. Keep up the wonderful work you are doing!

We recently adopted Nellie(now Lucy) and she is the most amazing fun puppy. She is learning stuff everyday she is so happy. She loves going for walks and playing fetch. We couldnt ask for a better puppy she fits right in with us. Thank you Haven to Home for all you do sheltering and rescuing the animals. Its good to have people like you.
