 What Is a Sponsorship Dog? A Sponsorship Dog is a beloved dog who, due to age, medical condition, or special needs, will remain in a dedicated and compassionate foster home for the rest of their life. These dogs are not available for adoption but continue to receive love, stability, and expert care through our sponsorship program. Haven to Home Canine Rescue, Inc. (H2H) covers all veterinary expenses and provides for the dog’s ongoing needs, including food, grooming, and other essentials. We welcome and deeply appreciate donations to support the lifelong care of these special dogs. Contributions can be made as a one-time gift or as a recurring donation—every dollar makes a difference in ensuring these dogs live out their lives in comfort and dignity. Sweet Daisy came from KY in October 2021. She was neglected and as a senior she probably would have been euthanized if our Rescue Friends in KY had not pulled her from a high-kill shelter. Since coming to us, Daisy has had some health issues that have prevented her from being made available for adoption. One of our wonderful life savers -- her foster mom -- loves and cares for her and Daisy is living a happy, comfortable life. Daisy is on daily medication to address arthritis and other medical issues and she is currently on a pricey prescription diet to help with weight loss. Daisy is a big girl -- at one point weighing 109 lbs. Through a special diet and easy exercise program, she is now under 100 lbs.
