Bart Hello Ladies, Just wanted to give you an update on our baby-boy!!! Since we adopted Gideon, both his brother and sister have passed away. It has been a truly devastating year for Tommy and I as we've lost 3 dogs in one year... On a happier note, Gideon has one more session until he has his CGC!!! We will start visiting nursing homes in March. We have also adopted a 6 month old Cane Corso named Zita. She and Gideon are HUGE BUDDIES!!! She is currently in in her CGC session and also attends conformation classes. We have our first show in May. Gideon is getting his feet wet in beginner agility classes!! He's a WOOT!!!!! :) Here are a few pics... Eternally grateful, Christi and Tommy Kugler
Peanut Peanut is starting to get used to his new home, and things seem to be falling into place. Peanut is simply the loviest dog ever. We’ve been working on helping build Peanuts courage...a little progress already and lots of promise.
Cooper Hi Robin, Cooper learned the fence in 1 training and is excellent even when the 2 dogs are playing and running. The active fence also stopped Cooper from chasing the sheep and the goats. He really thought that was fun but they never really appreciated it. We did get Cooper trimmed because of the upcoming flea and tick season. He did well at the groomer but was not fond of the dryer. We sent Sugar along so he wouldn't feel so alone. We were surprised when we got him home because he has webbed toes just like Sugar and did he ever look like a lab puppy after he lost his curls. He is doing very well although we must keep reinforcing some basic commands - like sit and stay. We are working on breaking him from jumping on everyone and everything. and "leave it" for the cats - he really enjoys the little sprints but the cats are wearing a bit weary. He just loves being outside and digging. Sugar and Cooper are our resident excavation company. He just loved our Granddaughter - Emily. She covers him up with blankets and reads to him. He sat for hours watching cartoons with her. We will keep you posted. That little guy is always into something and so amusing. Lyn
Buddy Buddy has been enjoying almost daily hikes in the woods since being adopted by his new family. He has even gotten the chance to see a bear. Buddy was seen by the vet who she was really impressed with how beautiful and well cared for he was. Most rescues she sees are abused and neglected. He lost more weight, she got 97lbs and was content with it. His only bad habit (other than trying to steal table food) is eating dirty diapers. He got a hold of one the other day and chewed it up pretty good before we noticed he was out of sight and quiet for a few minutes. Since then I have caught him going up stairs to get more - my daughter has a small lidded can in her sons room that he was getting into. All diapers are being disposed of in the Diaper Genie immediately now.
Sky Sky, now named Gabriel, is doing great in her new home. She loves cuddling up on the couch with her new dad when he is watching sports and will snuggle up with her new mom at night. She is getting used to the big cat in the house. She loves to walk the circle and smell all the dog smells. Gabrielle has it made in her new home. Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
