Timber is a two year old yellow lab mix who is waiting for his forever loving home. He is a very sweet boy who has not had a lot of formal training, but his foster mom reports that he is doing very well in a household with other dogs. He is happy and willing to learn. In just one week, Timber has learned: sit, wait, leave it, sit pretty, shake, his name, and down. This boy is a fast learner. He is learning to walk/run on a treadmill. A fenced in yard would be recommended for Timber, but not required. Timber is energetic and will require daily exercise and playtime. He would make a super companion for an active hiker or runner.
Timber is gentle but protective. Good with kids and other dogs. He loves to be near his person and sleeps close to his foster mom.
This boy is a diamond in the rough! Someone wil be very lucky to make him their companion.
Timber will be neutered on 8/18/2016 and will be ready for adoption. This boy won't be with us long.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
