Calling all the single ladies!!!
This young “Ladies Man” right here is about the best behaved guy you’ll ever meet, and we’ve met a few guys in our time! He listens to a variety of commands, is quiet around the house, keeps his space neat & tidy (house trained), and takes a compliment (and a treat) nicely! When it comes to obedience, Copper gets a Grade A!
Copper is a gorgeous 2-year old male (neutered) Cockalier, a Cocker Spaniel / Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix.
He does need some work on his leash skills, but it’s nothing a good no-pull harness and some time and patience can’t resolve. He also has submissive urination issues, which again, need to be dealt with, but he will come equipped with some manly-man belly bands to help out with that!
Thing is ladies… he likes the ladies. Exclusively. He is not a guy’s guy, and in fact, they make him more than a tad bit nervous.
Although Copper’s not outwardly aggressive toward things that scare him, (and they are plentiful) -- he’s also not quick to warm up to strangers, men, and anything small and ill-mannered – whether it be children or dogs. Timid by nature, this guy would probably be fine with older children and dogs that are not jumpy or pushy. Copper can exist in the company of men, but he needs to NOT be handled by them, so he will need a female caretaker. He promises to lavish her with affection and never complain about her cooking or chew her shoes! He’ll let the right woman pet him, brush him, clean his ears, walk him and in return, he would be loyal to a fault! And he'll even live peacefully with her cat too.
Copper’s former home was just a bit too tumultuous for his reserved nature, and he would really love to find a single lady to call his very own. If you think Copper is the dream companion you’ve been looking for, fill out an application! He’s waiting for you!!!
