Malaki is a 6 month old hound/Great Pyrenees puppy who is neutered and up to date on all vaccines.  He presently weighs 55 pounds, with some growing yet to do.   If you want an older dog activity level but the benefits of youth, Malaki is your boy! He is super sweet, calm, and is happiest laying in your lap. Although he’s a puppy, he is not a super energetic boy. He will steal kisses whenever he gets the chance and likes to nuzzle his face into you for attention. At first Malaki was fearful of the larger dogs in his home, but now he loves all the dogs--big and small.  Malaki loves to wrestle and romp with his foster furry friends, as well as share toys with them. 

Malaki is completely trusting of his people and allows them to take food, bones, and treats. He even sat still for his nail clipping. This sweet boy is crate trained and nondestructive in his crate. He is a little pully on leash, but is in the process of learning leash walking manners. He has not been cat tested.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
