Jocko is a 4 year old male Shih Tzu.  His owner recently passed away and he is looking for a new forever home.  He is very friendly, loves to play and go for walks.  Jocko is good with dogs and cats.  Jocko wishes for a home where he will not be left alone for long period's of time.  He loves attention and affection. 

Jocko has not been successful in recent placements due to his tendency to guard his humans.  He is now in a foster home with three teenage children, 4 other dogs and an adult.  He is doing very well with structure and leadership. Jocko is a great little dog--but if he doesn't have a dog savvy LEADER he does become possessive of his home.

Jocko is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and is on heartworm and flea prevention.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
