Mocha Doodle is a 1-year old female Golden-Doodle with a big personality.  Mocha REALLY likes people and wants to be near her people all the time.  She is a large girl, weighing in at over 60 lbs.  Having not been adequately trained or managed in her first year of life, Mocha can be a bit unruly. 

Although Mocha does not appear to have a mean bone in her body – she might accidentally step on or knock over small children.  She may also overwhelm small dogs or dogs that aren’t very social with other dogs.  Until she is taught better manners, Mocha can overwhelm other dogs during playtime. She is not aggressive--she is disrespectful at times and can get too ramped up.  At that point, a time out is helpful until she calms down. 

Mocha responds well to training and is eager to please.  Unfortunately, she hasn’t been taught the meaning of many words; she does know sit and come.  She is housetrained and is being crate trained. Initially she may bark when first being placed in her crate, but quickly settles down with a safe chew toy.

Like most young dogs, Mocha likes to chew and will need owners willing to provide her with chew toys appropriate for her chewing strength.  An energetic chewer, she will shred the average stuffed animal so will need access to more durable safe chews.

Mocha has a thick dark curly coat that does not seem to mat much, and she is working on learning to tolerate brushing.  Regular grooming is a must for this girl, but grooming is not her favorite part of the day.   

Mocha is sweet, loving, friendly and playful.  She is the epitome of what a Golden Doodle should be – a fun, friendly girl who likes to be a part of whatever her people are doing.  She is lacking in manners, self-control, and training.  Mocha is looking for an owner absolutely committed to training, manners, grooming and love.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
