Trox is a young, gorgeous Shiba Inu. Estimated age is 3 years old. Trox was on the run for a long time and alluded capture numerous times. He was never claimed and has been adjusting to life indoors at his foster home. His wanderlust may be a challenge if he were to find himself off leash or outside a fenced area. It has taken Trox a long time to trust. He has a good relationship with his immediate foster family -- is a little standoffish with new people. He has not shown any aggression. Trox has slowly begun to seek out human contact and affection--but he shares his affection sparingly. We feel it is time for Trox to move on to the next chapter of his life in loving home of his own; preferablly with someone who has breed experience. (Please research - Shiba Inu Breed).

Trox is very good with other dogs and one of his favorite human friends is a little boy.

Preference will be given to applicants with breed experience and a safe enclosed area in which Trox can run. He NEEDS and LOVES to be able to run freely.

Please consider Trox as your new companion. The time and effort you put into his training will be rewarded Ten Fold.

Trox is neutered, up to date with vaccines, and is on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention.

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
