PLEASE READ Before appying....

Charlie is about 2 1/2 years old.  He is a fairly low energy dog that likes to take short leisurely strolls. He is a sweet, gentle soul.  He's not big on long distance hikes or walks :) When Charlie was first evaluated he seemed to be fine with other dogs.  However, we're finding that in a home with multiple dogs, Charlie's insecurities can cause poor interaction with other canines.  Charlie does suffer from separation anxiety, so being home alone for long hours is not an option for him.  His foster mom is working on crate training him and helping him to develop more confidence. He will need an owner who will continue his training, using positive reinforcement (never punishment).  Unfortunately, Charlie was not socialized in his previous home, so the world and the people in it can be a bit overwhelming for him at first.   He will need a home without little children as well as a new owner who will be committed to socialize him and take him new places.  Charlie needs to learn that the world is a fun place and friendly dogs mean him no harm!

Oh, and you must love to play fetch - Charlie loves to play ball :)

Charlie has not yet been tested with cats.

Charlie is neutered, and up to date with vaccinations.  He is microchipped and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm medication.
