Ralph is a tree walking coonhound.  Guessing his age at 2 - 3, and around 55 pounds.  He just arrived from our KY partners.  Ralphie's foster said he didn't pay any attention to the cats, allows the kids (2 years to 19 years)  to "love on him (respectfully)", and gets along with the resident canine(s).  He is very tall and can reach the BACK of the kitchen counter (so keep those goodies out of sight). He has shown zero food aggression and waits nicely for a treat.  He is now in OBEDIENCE TRAINING 101 starting with learning to SIT.  He is also enrolled in HOUSETRAINING 101.
Ralphie is stealing hearts already. I bet he'll steal yours, too.  

This boy is a diamond in the rough.  He's kind and gentle and willing to learn.  A fenced in yard will be given preference because he is a HOUND and will follow his nose.  He is also very attached to his people so would not do well if left alone for long hours per day.  A friendly canine companion would be awesome!  

Ralphie will be neutered on July 6 and then ready for his forever home.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
