Tucker Joe came to us on June 5, 2021,  He had been a breeder dog all his life.  Due to lack of socialization, poor little Tucker still doesn't seek affection/attention even though his foster pulls him onto her lap everyday and to hold and pet him gently.  Tucker lives with three other small dogs and enjoys their company.  He's done well with housetraining.  He sleeps in a doggie bed at night in the foster's bedroom; although, he has been invited to sleep with his foster and furry companions.  He seems to want to be near his human--jumping onto the couch to be near her, or laying in the kitchen while she is working. He just doesn't seek physical attention or know how to accept it. Tucker shows absolutely NO AGGRESSION.  When he's fearful - he freezes.

This is a result of puppy mill life....

In time, Tucker can be a very loving, loyal companion--but it's one day at a time, one step at a time for a dog like Tucker.

Tucker is up to date with vaccines, neutered and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Keeping Tucker in foster care any longer will not be beneficial in the long run.  He needs to be in his forever home; a home that will expose him slowly to new environments and experiences so that he can be the dog he was meant to be.

Will you give Tucker a chance to live his best life?
