Maxwell Smart is a two year old JUG - Jack Russell/Pug Mix.  He is neutered and up to date with vaccines.  Max has never lived with another dog before but is doing very well co-existing with a furry friend.  At this time, he has no interest in playing - but that could change once he finds the right friend and is comfortable.  He would do well in a home with a lower energy dog, or one that would not overwhelm him with their energy. 

At first, Max is a little shy. But, his friendly, sweet personality surfaces quickly.  Max loves his people and is a good "shadow".  Wherever you are, he is.  Because Max is a Pandemic pup, he does have some separation anxiety so would do best with someone who is home much of the time or will help him be more comfortable when alone.  Maxwell is housetrained, loves to walk on leash, enjoys car rides, and belly rubs.  He would be better in a home with NO children or at least older children as he is a resource guarder.  His foster family is working on this.  He will chase cats and small animals. 

Max is microchipped and on flea/tick/heartworm monthly prevention.  Now he needs to find his forever home!

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
