Are you looking for a 65lbs lap dog? 

If you answered yes! Aphrodite is your gal!  Aphrodite is a super sweet 3.5 year old Lab mix.  She came to us with her sister (Goddess Athena) after their former owner lost her home.  She is just sweet as can be; loves everyone (including kids).  She needs a home where she can be close to her people, the closer the better!    Aphrodite is good with other dogs, crate and house trained.  She is a strong girl that is lacking a bit in the manner department so she will need someone who is willing (and strong enough) to work with her on her leash manners and proper 'calm dog' manners.   She does have quite the urge to chase critters so a home without cats or other small animals would be best.
 
Aphrodite is spayed, 4DX negative, up to date on vaccines, on heartworm and flea meds and microchipped.  This pretty girl won't be with us long :)

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
