AXEL WANTS NOTHING MORE THAN A HOME OF HIS OWN FOR THE HOLIDAYS!  

Axel was abandoned when his owner's moved away and left him tied outside their rental home.  The landlord called us for help.  We can't figure out how anyone could leave a sweet guy like this behind!

Axel is about 50 pounds, maybe 1 to 2 years old, and sweet, sweet sweet!  He immediately sat and gave both paws when we met him.  He was thrilled to ride in the car with his foster mom and was a great passenger.   He was a good boy for his bath and meeting his canine foster siblings and continues to cohabitate well with them

Axel is doing great in his foster home with other canine companions.  He is crate trained and is housetrained. Leash training is a work in progress, but he's coming along.  Finally, in his foster home he is experiencing love and affection and he responds in kind.

Not really sure what breed he is, maybe some Saint Bernard mix? Whatever he is, sweet is at the top of the list!  This guy won't last long.  Axel is neutered, updated on vaccines, microchipped, and is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventative. 

This boy will make the right person/family an awesome companion.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
