Are you a black and white kind of person?  Maggie Sue is your kind of gal.

What is the color of a holstein cow but doesn't give milk?  Maggie Sue!

Black and white goes with everything - Maggie Sue will not clash with your clothes or furniture!

Seriously, folks, Maggie Sue is a sweet, young, border collie mix (at least that is our guess!).   She is spayed, up to date with vaccines, and on heartworm/flea/tick monthly preventatives.  Maggie greets strangers appropriately, and walks nicely on a leash.  She'll never turn down a game of fetch or tug 'o war.  If you need a playmate for a friendly, active dog, a companion to hike, run or walk with--Maggie is up to the task.  She enjoys chewing safe toys like nyla bones, playing with her foster canine siblings and has mastered the commands: SIT, SHAKE, DOWN, and she thinks her name is NO MAGGIE.  Just kidding.  When she's caught doing something she shouldn't be doing--a stern STOP or NO with a quick redirection sends this smart girl onto more productive activities.  Applications offering Maggie a safe place to run, and another fun companion will be given preference.  Apply soon - because Maggie says she is anxious to be welcomed into her forever home.

Breed experience is preferred.  Maggie requires an active owner.  One who will help her become the best she can be.  She is highly active and would like a fenced in yard and another friendly, playful companion.  It is unknown if she would be good with kids--most likely older kids would be best.  Border collie's are smart, trainable, and need a job.  That doesn't mean she has to herd sheep--but her breed requires that her herding instinct and  high energy be directed towards positive activities.
