Trey is a very sweet 6 1/2 year old Shepherd mix. He needs a foster or forever home. He weighs about 35 lbs. Trey is neutered and UTD with vaccines. He is wonderful with children of any age. His owner feels she needs to relinquish him because she has 3 other dogs living in the household and within the last few months Trey has become very protective of the children and tries to fight with the other dogs if they come too near. He is very gentle with children. He has a very sweet personality and is good with cats. He will stay with his owner in the yard off leash and does not try to run away. He is not food aggressive and will allow his toenails to be clipped with no fuss. Trey loves to go for walks, swim and ride in a car. When you meet Trey, you get the feeling he would just like to have more love and attention. He is not high energy in the house, but does like to play outside if encouraged to do so. Trey would be a great addition to a family.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
