Do you love labradors but would like a smaller version?
Are you looking for a dog that is good with dogs and children?
How about a hiking or walking buddy?
If you can say YES to the questions above - then Shiloh just may be the girl for you.
Shiloh came to us from our KY Rescue Friends. She is a young, spayed, yellow girl who looks a little like a miniature lab (she's about 30 pounds). Shiloh is everything that our rescue friends described and then MORE! She is sweet, outgoing, friendly, good with kids and dogs alike.
This sweet young girl loves to play with other dogs, but isn't too crazy. She hasn't met a dog she doesn't like. Currently, she is living with another female canine and often has canine visitors stop by to play. Shiloh likes to go on walks and hikes with her foster mom and especially likes to spend time on the screened porch watching the squirrels and birds frolic in the trees. Her Mom says that Shiloh prefers to eat on the porch so she can enjoy the dog version of TV--eating and watching the trees for entertainment while she eats.
Shiloh has been very loving and appropriate with her foster mom's small grandchildren. Although she will go into a crate, she prefers NOT to be crated and is not at all destructive when let alone with her canine companion in the house when mom is out.
Shiloh is looking for a home with a fenced yard (because she is focused on little creatures) and could easily take off in pursuit. She NEEDS loving children who want a dog in their lives, AND an active family who will include her in their daily lives (she is a social butterfly).
Shiloh is spayed, up to date with vaccines and is on flea/tick/heartworm monthly prevention.
If you can provide the type of home that Shiloh needs and wants, apply today. Will you be the lucky person to spend your LIFE with Shiloh?
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.
We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
