Meet Kristi – A Gentle Soul Looking for Her Forever Home

Kristi is a sweet, quiet little girl who wants nothing more than to be by your side. She’s house trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and is learning the ropes of home life beautifully in her foster home. While she can be crated, her foster works from home, so she hasn’t needed one — and she’s been a perfect companion.

Kristi gets along well with other dogs and is gentle with children, but she hasn’t been around cats yet. Because she’s still building her confidence, Kristi will need a calm, confident canine friend in her new home to help show her the ropes and encourage her to continue learning how to “dog.” It took her a little time to warm up, but she now enjoys playtime with her foster brother, especially a good game of tug!

A securely fenced yard is important for Kristi — she’s still a bit unsure in wide open spaces and may bolt if startled. With patience, love, and the right doggy buddy, Kristi will continue to blossom into the joyful, loyal companion she’s meant to be.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
