Meet Frankie – The Pocket-Sized Snuggle Pro!

At just 4 months old and 6 lbs, Frankie is a jet-black Toy Poodle pup with a heart as big as his personality. Though he may come across as a little timid at first, give him a moment—and maybe a treat—and you’ll soon see his playful, affectionate side shine through.

Once comfortable, Frankie becomes a spirited ball of joy who loves wrestling and zooming around with his canine foster brother. He’s well on his way to being house trained, walks are getting better every day, and he’s incredibly smart—he thrives on learning new tricks and adores being told what a good boy he is.

But Frankie’s not just about fun and games. When playtime is over, he becomes a world-class snuggler and full-time personal space invader. His dream? That his forever human was a kangaroo with a pouch so he could be close 24/7. He bonds deeply and would rather not be left alone for long hours. He’s happiest when he’s by your side—curled up on your lap, nestled under your arm, or riding along on adventures.

Frankie does well with other playful dogs and would love a canine sibling. He’s also fine with dog-savvy cats. His ideal home is one where he can continue his training, go on walks, play with friends, and—most importantly—be someone’s beloved shadow.

Frankie is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, up to date with vaccinations for his age (lepto booster due by 9/15/25), and microchipped.  Neutering will be the responsibility of the adopter and contractually REQUIRED by H2H within one year.  Since he is still a baby, preference will be given to applicants who understand puppies can't be left alone for an 8-hour day, and need positive training.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
