Meet Ruger (Ru)!
He’s fully housetrained and crate-trained (though he doesn’t need to be crated). Ruger gets along beautifully with other dogs and doesn’t pay much attention to cats. He prefers a calm, consistent home without too much hustle and bustle—he thrives in a quieter environment where he can relax and feel secure. True to his Border Collie roots, Ruger loves to run at full speed and stretch those long legs! His ideal home will have a fenced yard or someone who can take him to safe areas where he can run off-leash regularly. Ru can be a bit wary of people wearing hats and takes his watchdog duties seriously when the doorbell rings—but with reassurance and patience, he settles quickly. Ruger is looking for a loving home that understands the Border Collie spirit—smart, loyal, and full of energy.
