Meet Kolby! This 1.5 year old Aussie Shepherd mix is ready for all the outdoor activity with his forever family. His infectious high energy and sweet nature are sure to keep spirits high and laughs coming everyday.
This boy is all about being loved on; giving hugs and getting all the cuddles. Kolby has lived with children previously and absolutely loves them. He loves having all the attention on him, but could get along with and learn from other dogs in the home that could tolerate all the energy this guy has.
Kolby does have high prey drive, but does not appear aggressive at all. He is extremely curious and easily excitable so a dog-savvy cat and a slow introduction most likely would be best for him.
Training this little dude is a dream. He is highly intelligent and attentive; learning commands quickly but making mental enrichment just as essential as physical exercise. He has come a long way on his house training skills. Kolby is thriving on a consistent potty training and eating schedule to prevent any accidents in the home.
With his foster mom, he is learning boundaries, impulse control, and how to rest while in his pen. Kolby is rebuilding a positive relationship with crate training and is already showing great improvement. During car rides, his is a little unsure, but is calm and settles after a few minutes.
This sweet bundle of energy would thrive in an active household. Where there is always someone to play with and engage with him. He is a velcro dog and wants nothing more than to be with his pack all day. He has the potential to be a great family dog, an outdoor exploration companion, or an agility champ.
This boy can do no wrong in his foster moms eyes haha :)
Kolby is up to date with vaccinations, is neutered, and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick meds.
