Meet Alice!
Alice is an 11-month-old Lab/Border Collie (maybe Shepherd) mix with a heart as big as her smile. Strangers? She thinks they’re just friends she hasn’t met yet! This sweet girl is super friendly, social, and always ready to be your new best buddy—she’s even made friends with the Roomba.

Alice is playful, silly, and smart as a whip. Fetch and tug are her favorite games, but she’s just as happy to curl up as the “little spoon” when it’s time to relax. She loves everyone she meets—men, women, and teenagers alike—and takes treats with the gentlest mouth.

✨ What makes Alice special:

  • Smart & trainable: Comes when called by whistle or name, knows sit, stay/wait, and shake. She’s learning leash manners quickly and would thrive in activities like agility, rally, FASTcat, or obedience.

  • Well-mannered at home: Housetrained, crate trained, sleeps through the night (9:30pm–6am), and respectful of household plants and furniture.

  • Easy companion: Gentle, happy, quiet (not a barker), reliable off-leash in the yard, rides nicely in the car, and adores toys of all kinds.

  • Fun-loving: Loves sprinklers and the water sprayer—playtime with her always comes with a smile.

Alice has not been tested with small children or cats in her foster home, though we hear she’s fine with cats that don’t run.

This very happy, very loving girl is looking for a family who will keep her mind busy, her body active, and her heart full of love. If you’re looking for a best friend who’s as smart as she is sweet, Alice is your girl. ❤️
 
Alice will be available for adoption after she is spayed.  She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on monthly heartworm and flea preventatives.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
