Meet Rudy Joe

Rudy Joe is a 3-year-old red miniature poodle who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. Raised in a breeding facility, Rudy arrived to us matted and bedraggled, unsure of the world beyond his small kennel. But after a warm bath, a fresh groom, and lots of gentle love, his sweet personality truly came alive.

Now Rudy is all about the good life! He loves cuddling in bed with his foster mom and her three canine companions—both big and small. He also lives peacefully with a cat and is doing very well with housetraining.

Rudy Joe has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines (with one booster scheduled in two weeks), and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He is currently being lovingly fostered in the Northumberland, PA community, where he continues to blossom more every day.

Rudy Joe is ready for a home where he can keep learning what it means to be cherished—snuggles included.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
