Howie is a gentle 1 year old lab/border collie mix who will thrive in a home where he is provided with daily exercise and a canine companion.  A fenced yard where he can run and play would be ideal. He is an independent spirit that does not like to be crated.  Howie does well when left home alone with another dog, but would do best in a home where he is not routinely left for long periods of time without human companionship.   He enjoys going for walks or runs and he LOVES car rides.  Howie has learned basic commands like sit, down, stay, come and leave it.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
