Rescue ~ Rehab ~ Rehome

Bubba is a sweet, 6 year old, Jack Russell mix weighing about 15-20 pounds.  His owner passed away last year. For two years, Bubba had been a constant and loyal companion to his elderly owner.  Now he is lost and needing a permanent loving home. He is a great companion and lap dog. He loves to have his belly rubbed and is very loyal. Bubba is more laid back than most JRTs and very well behaved. Loves to go for car rides and rides well and is housebroken. He is not a barker. Can be a little protective (as are most Terrier breeds) but warms up quickly to anyone who will give him attention and belly rubs!! 

Update: Bubba had been adopted into a home with children. They tried working with him, but it is not the right home for him. He does not do well will young kids and a lot of chaos and noise. Bubba will require a quiet home with gentle  love and consistency.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
