Description by his foster mom:  Duke is a lovely English Coonhound with a very affectionate personality.  He is about 3 years old, weighs 81 lbs, and is very well house-trained.

Duke is very gentle with young kids, which he has shown both in groups and individually.  He gets along well with other dogs, including my 10 year old lab, and several others he has met.  He is very curious about my cat, but not aggressive, and is very mindful of her reprimands.  He has responded well to training, and quickly learned "no," along with other commands.  He has a beautiful voice, although he does not bark when left alone.  He loves to snuggle, and his favorite spot at home is sleeping next to the fireplace.

Duke will make a great family companion with his gentle nature.  A fenced yard would be wonderful for Duke since he will follow his nose if he gets off leash.  He loves to run and jump, and enjoys regular walks and exercise.   Breed experience is a plus, as Duke is very true to his breed.
