Dukester is quite young and very puppy like at approximately 7 to 8 months old. He was found as a stray, and is blossoming with TLC, basic obedience training, and a routine in his foster home. He has learned to walk on a leash, LOVES car rides, and is housebroken. He is a bit of an escape artist from the crate, but doesn't get into too much trouble--he just wants to hang out with his labby foster sister and the cat and be waiting for mom at the door. Duke would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time and where he will have a canine companion. Duke does not like to be crated, but does OK when left home alone with his foster sister for a short period of time, although it is best to have the counters cleared off before you leave.
Duke is a stay-around dog, is a real love who is eager to please and loyal, and he'll make a wonderful companion.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
