Daisy Jane is a sweet pretty girl who couldn't possibly be more loving!  At 37 pounds, she's a little big for a lap dog but she doesn't know that!  When she's tired, she loves nothing more than to cuddle up next to you, with her head (or whole body) in your lap. She's also generous with doggy kisses.  The vet's best guess is that Daisy Jane is part lab and part hound and is between a one and one  and a half years old.  For most of her first year, poor little Daisy Jane was tied outside with no dog house or protection from the weather and only taken inside occasionally. She's been fostered in a couple of different homes since late December.  Daisy Jane seems to be very intelligent and quick to learn. In just a few minutes her first foster family taught her to sit on command. In foster care she has come a long way in learning to socialize with people and dogs and to walk on a leash without pulling.  She gets along well with most other dogs, although she does sometimes bark aggressively at dogs that she is afraid of.  She's still a puppy, so is full of energy.  Daisy will do best in a home where she will get daily exercise,  continued leash work and obedience training.  She'd love a fenced in yard where she can run, play off leash and chase squirrels.  In her first foster home, she had a doggie sibling, and she loves running and playing with other dogs at the dog park.  Daisy Jane would probably be happiest in a home where she has either a human or another dog home with her for most of the day. Neither foster family has a child, but every time she's been around a child, she has been well behaved (other than lots of face-licking) and seems to love to play with children.  She is spayed and up-to-date with all vaccinations and screenings.  Won't you consider Daisy Jane as your new life long friend?
