About Shasta Daisy

Shasta Daisy is 1 1/2 years old black lab.  She is as sweet as can be. She and her sister (litter mate) were raised in a home and are housebroken.  They slept in the bed with their owner until the owner had a change in living arrangements.  The owner is now staying with friends and can no longer keep the dogs.  They are currently living in an nice outside pen.  They have never been in a crate.  They are good with cats but have not been around other dogs.  Shasta-Daisy knows a few simple commands but she loves to jump on you and give kisses.  Their original home had a fenced in yard so she was was not walked on a leash.  While on a leash today she did pretty well. She is used to being indoors with her owner all of the time so even though they are penned together, they appear lonely and confused.    Around children they are excited and loving but they do try to jump on them.   Shasta Daisy has been around a cat and did well, just curious.  She can be destructive when left alone, but she is very young and puppy like and a Lab :)    When someone is home, they are fine. She loves toys, balls and chews, playing with her sister,  is not afraid of anything and rides well in the car.  She may need work accepting other dogs other than her sister.
