Buddy is a 6 year old spaniel mix.  He was sad when his owner had to go to a nursing home and he was left home alone a lot while some relatives cared for him.  A friend of his owner asked H2h to find him a loving home where he can be loved and treasured like he was by her.  Buddy is now in a foster home.   His foster mom says:  What a sweetie!!! He is a lover and now really a player. He loves kisses and will actually sit beside you on the couch and put his cheek up to you for a kiss. No need to crate him and has not attempted at all to lift his leg in the house. He listens very well and doesn't jump up on you when you get home. Likes to be brushed and petted. He just wants to be close to you and love you. Sleeps at the bottom of the bed or on the floor right beside the bed. He was great with the grandkids and loves to play with the cat. We were camping this past weekend and I have a tie out on a run. When he was on the tie he did not bark or whine. After awhile my husband was walking him on the yard and dropped his leash and Buddy stayed right with him. He may pull at first on the leash then he settles and walks nicely.

For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
