Pounder is a 7-8 year old black lab mix who was left homeless with his brother Buddy when their owner suddenly passed away last month. A relative has been coming over to care for them 2-3 times a day. Pounder is still very active and will play ball until YOU collapse :) He is a fun dog, very friendly and very intelligent. They are not destructive and are housebroken. They are both neutered and completely vetted. They both pull on the leash as they are so excited to get out of their small yard and go for walks. We would love to see this bonded pair get a home together if possible. Won't you consider giving this dashing duo a home with your family?? They LOVE kids and are fine with other dogs and love to go for car rides!
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
