Pumpkin is a 4 year old cattle dog mix who weighs 61 pounds. She is housetrained and knows basic commands. Pumpkin is very bright, learned basic obedience quickly and her foster mom is now working on leash walking.
While she came from a home with children, because of the herding tendencies of the cattle dog, Pumpkin shouldn’t go to a home with young kids. Her ideal home would have strong leadership skills and be familiar with the breed. Pumpkin does have a strong prey drive and a no-cat home would be also be good for her.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
