Nadene is a beautiful 2 1/2 year old female black lab. She walks fairly well on a leash and is housetrained. She has not had a lot of human exposure so is pretty timid and spooky with new people. Once you gain her trust though she is a very loving, friendly girl that just wants to be loved. Nadene was raised with other dogs and was very bonded to them.  Nadene likes to walk, run and play just like most labs.  A home with at least one other dog to help her feel comfortable in a new home and someone home with her most of the time is preferred.   She will require a home with no small children and owners who will socialize her with new people and situations in a patient manner.    

We've had a lot of interest in Nadene and quite a few adoption applications came in for her.  She went home with one of the applicants, but was just too shy and timid and didn't do well there.  We are presently working on some of the other applications for her.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
