Molly is a very friendly, sweet, playful, energetic 8 year old house trained female Cairn Terrier. She shows no food or toy aggression. She entertains herself by throwing her ball and chasing it. She was raised in a home with a retired couple and given lots of love and attention. She is a bit on the heavy side but a weight loss program is in effect and the excess weight doesn’t seem to slow her down.
Molly would probably do best as an only dog, or with a dog a little larger or very self-confident. She is very picky about her canine buddies. Therefore, we feel she would be happier as an only pet and companion.
Molly does get nervous when she meets new people, however, when she feels comfortable, she is a real joy to be around.
This little girl has had her life upset by having to leave people she has known since she was a puppy. A permanent home is needed as soon as possible.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
