Anna

Dear Haven To Home,

We are so grateful to have Annabelle (Anna) in our lives. It will be one year Jan. 13th since we've adopted Annabelle. This will be her first Christmas with us and we can't wait to spoil her with gifts. She already got her new monogrammed collar and leash her daddy couldn't wait till Christmas to give it to her. The one picture I've attached is of her and her daddy watching the train under the Christmas tree. She was afraid of the train at first (I think she thought it was a new animal) but she has gotten used to it now.

She also gets along great with our two cats Hudson and Peach as you can see from the pictures. The one night I went in and she was sleeping on our bed and the cat was laying on her, but she didn't even seem to notice.

Annabelle has so much love to give we brought her down to Hershey for my parents Thanksgiving and she was the center of attention. She even did well around little children letting them pet and hug her.

Another picture I attached was from when Annabelle and I went to Petsmart and she jumped into my trunk, thinking she was going to ride home like that. The picture of her with the purple bows is from her first haircut. We were worried about taking her to a groomer because she has bad separation anxiety we thought she would be scared. But the groomer said she was so loving and warmed up quickly to her. Annabelle still has her English Setter instincts, her favorite thing to do is stare out the windows at all the birds and squirrels in the yard.

Merry Christmas from our family,

Taryn, Kevin, Annabelle, Peach and Hudson

Angel

Just wanted to thank Haven to Home for our beautiful Angel.  She has been here a week and fits in like she has always been here.  She is my daughter’s best friend.  She won’t get two steps from her.  Angel was a welcome addition as we had just lost our beloved Dunkin.  We never thought we would find another dog like him.  A friend had posted a link to Haven to Home on facebook for puppies.  I originally applied for one of them but as soon as I hit the submit button for the application, I saw Angel.  She looks so much like our Dunkin and then the name....it was like someone was trying to tell me something.  I must have looked at her picture a hundred times.  After Vanessa called to set up the home inspection, I kept thinking about Angel.  I talked with a co-worker who insisted that this was “supposed to be.” I called Vanessa back and asked her to bring Angel for a visit.  We loved her from the moment she walked in the door.  She is so loving....she just loves to sit with you.  I keep telling her that she is stuck with us as she is never leaving.  She has not messed in the house or chewed anything.  She is very well behaved.  I have enclosed a picture of her with my daughter.  You can see that they are both very happy.

Thank you so much for helping us find Angel.

Abe

Good day Forever Rescue, First I need to tell you that as a family we renamed Abe, Guinness. Guinness has brought a new energy to our family, including our 16 year old dog Chrissy! We are in love and so grateful that he was rescued by such kind people so that we could have him as part of our family. He is on a schedule with lots of playing, walks, training and he even goes to his crate at night to sleep. More good news he is growing well, when his weight was checked this week he has gained 5 healthy pounds, he is not fat but growing stronger everyday. Rescuing Guinness not only changed his life for the better, but he will forever be a loved member of the Woerner family! Thank You !!! The Woerner Family
