Handsome Hound!

Bruno is a handsome 4 1/2 year old Beagle/Cocker Spaniel Mix. He came into rescue with his brother who was recently adopted. Bruno is missing his brother. He will do best in a home with another friendly dog, or with a human who is home much of the time. Because he is part beagle, his nose goes to ground and he is gone if he gets loose. So, a fence is highly recommended.  Bruno is neutered, up to date with vaccines, and is microchipped.   Bruno is a cuddle bug. He is very sweet and loving, but needs work on basic obedience. He is attending training classes with his foster Mom and Dad.

Bruno is currently in a foster home with no other dogs. But he has shared a home with other dogs and cats and did well. He is crate trained and loves car rides.

Bruno and his brother found themselves in need of a new home because former owners could not provide them with enough attention since their family has grown and their one child needs special attention.

Bruno is struggling to learn to live without his brother who is doing fine without Bruno. Inside, he wants nothing more than to sit on your lap and cuddle.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
