FOSTER NEEDED ASAP
Sabre was abandoned by owners. He's not altered and approximately three years old. He tested positive for heartworm, lyme and anasplasmosis. NONE of these are contagious. Heartworm treatment will require at least 4 months rehab. Once treatment has begun, Sabre may not be exercised and needs to be kept as quiet as possible . No Walks--just leashed for bathroom time. H2H will pay for all treatment.
GSD experience preferred...but not required. Sabre is sweet, but he is strong and has been accustomed to running free. His temporary foster has not seen any hint of aggression. Housetrained and responds to commands.
Sabre is up to date with vaccinations.
Foster to adopt preferred. Foster must be local (central Pa) as veterinary care will be provided in Danville, PA. Adoption will not be finalized until heartworm treatment is completed.
