Meet Giblet — aka Gibby! Gibby answers to many names… mostly because he can’t hear a single one of them This adorable 1-year-old Shiba Inu mix is completely deaf, but don’t let that fool you — it doesn’t slow him down one bit! Gibby is spunky, playful, and full of life. He came from an overcrowded home where he didn’t get much one-on-one socialization, so slow and gentle introductions are the key to winning his trust (and his heart). Once he feels safe, his personality shines. He’s been doing great with potty training and is learning his house manners, but he does get anxious if crated for long periods. Gibby would thrive in a home where he isn’t left alone too often and can feel included in daily life. This energetic guy would love a confident, playful canine companion his size or larger to zoom around the yard with — or an active family who enjoys long walks and adventures. He plays a bit rough, so small dogs and small children wouldn’t be the best match. He is good with dog-savvy cats, though! Gibby is up to date on all his vetting and is simply looking for a special family willing to take things slow and help him navigate the world as a deaf dog. With patience, structure, and love, Gibby will make a loyal, fun, and truly special companion. Could you be the one to show Gibby that being different is pretty wonderful? ✨ More about Thanksgiving 2025: GibletGood with Dogs, Good with Cats Thanksgiving 2025: Giblet's sister, Thanksgiving 2025: Sage Stuffing (available for adoption) can also be seen on our website.
