Sweet Little Sassyfrass had a hard start in her short life.  She came to us at 8 months old, dirty, thin, scared, and with evidence that her toenails had grown into the pads of her feet. 

With love and care, she is doing extremely well. She's happy, eating well, healthy and playful.  Sassy is still a little shy in new situations and with new people. But in her foster home where she is comfortable, she plays for hours with four other dogs, and then wants nothing more than to warm a human's lap.  

Sassy is up to date with vaccinations, spayed, and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventative.  

She is crate trained and is 90% housetrained.  If she is kept on a schedule and encouraged to go outside, she has had few accidents (keep in mind, she is a puppy who has had to start over at 8 months old due to lack of care).  Sassy will be happiest with another friendly canine and someone who is home a lot.  She will cry when left alone--but does eventually calm down.  Overall, she is a delightful little girl who just needs patience, training, and love.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
