Brody came to us because his owner's health has declined and he is no longer able to care for him.  He is the softest, sweetest little guy.  Brody is up to date with vaccinations, is neutered and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.  He is 5 years old and in the prime of his life, weighing in between 25-30 pounds.  

Brody gets along nicely with a group of dogs in his foster home and is now llllenjoying the opportunity to play with his new friends in a fenced in yard.  At night, he sleeps with his foster mom.  She describes him as a delight!

Brody does have separation anxiety when left alone.  Therefore, it is VERY important that Brody go to a home with another friendly, playful canine companion and a new owner who is home much of the time.  Of course, there are always times when dogs must be left at home--therefore, he needs an owner who will work with his anxiety of being confined.  He did quite well in a larger kennel when he had been boarded.  Brody is currently on anxiety meds to help him deal with all the changes in his life.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
