Timber is a beautiful 6 month old puppy girl (3-16-22 is her assigned birthday) with a soft, shiny, liver (red brown) coat with white trim on her neck, Her feet are white sprinkled with speckles of liver colored spots. She has bright amber eyes that are striking and great looking ears that stand up or flop loosely. She is a dream girl that has yet to meet a stranger (man, child, lady, dog or cat!) she doesn't like. Timber was born with a nub tail and she wags it with joy! She has immediately and easily integrated into my pack of seven which includes big, small, male, female, young, old and handicapped. I do not have a cat but my friend does cat rescue. When Timber was “cat tested” she actually was a bit afraid of them. Timber seems to be good with all: cats, dogs, kids. This girl loves to go for long walks with me either alone or with one or two of my dogs. She also enjoys riding in the car and has no problems quietly settling down and is just happy to be going anywhere as long as it is with us. She is a smart and treat motivated dog so would make someone a fun dog to take to classes or to competitions. Within hours of arrival, Timber learned to use a doggie door. Having access to a fenced yard she loves to wander around or lay in the sun. Timber is also crate trained. I am really happy with her house manners! Super affectionate, Timber loves with all of her heart. She is being re-homed through no fault of her own. Her owner was devastated to give her up but realized that his very long work hours were just not fair to this young energetic puppy. We have no way of assigning a breed mix other than guessing--short of doing a DNA test. We must choose a breed on our website; she may not have an ounce of border collie. What we do know is she is one wonderful puppy and someone is going to win the jackpot when they adopt her! Timber is lovingly being fostered in Northumberland, PA. 17857.
