Adorable Bindi is a dachshund puppy who was given up via a free add in a newspaper.  She is a typical, happy doxie puppy.  Very energetic and loves to play with other dogs of similar size.  

Although Bindi is a healthy little girl at 7 pounds, she has a crippled right hind leg.  The leg is not repairable -- she was born this way.  Bindi's vet does NOT recommend amputation at this point because she shows no sign of discomfort and uses the leg for balance.  At some point in her life, she may need her leg amputated if it becomes a detriment to her quality of life.  This disability does NOT slow her down.  She zips around the yard and house just like all of the other dogs. in her foster home.  Bindi is one HAPPY Girl.

Bindi would like to have a home with another playful, friendly dog that is similar in size.  She will be available for adoption after her spay in January 2023.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
