Tucker Taco is a very spry, young, active 7 year old Chihuahua.  He is marked like a min-pin with a sleek black body, curly tail, brown markings and erect ears.  This handsome fellow tops the scale at 12 pounds.
 
Tucker loves to be a lap warmer and is just about the best bed buddy ever.  He prefers to be under the covers and next to a warm body, where he stays until forced out in the morning!  Want to go on a road trip?  Need a walking buddy?  Tucker is your man! 
 
He has been good with my pack of 6 canines that includes old, young, big, small, handicapped, male and female.  Tucker lived with cats before and never hurt them.  He is being re-homed because he was stressing out over the busy, young household that now has 3 young children with friends coming and going.  He is enjoying the freedom of a fenced in yard, and we are working on using the doggie door.  With correction and praise, his house manners are improving!

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
