I am a great boy!  Why doesn't anyone want me?

Are you ready to let a tall, handsome, mysterious stranger into your life?

Mountain Jack was found abandoned in a remote area.  We were called to help and we took him to our vet for neutering and vaccinations.  The staff described him as a happy boy who is quite the "ham".

Poor Mountain Jack! Can you please share to find this big lug a new foster (without cats) or adopter??

Are you ready to let a tall, handsome, mysterious stranger into your life? Meet Mountain Jack.
He’s a 75-pound hound mix who’s looking for love in a foster or forever home. Our vet thinks he is 1-2 years old.

Jack Likes:
  • Taking YOU for long walks on the beach (or down the sidewalk).
  • All of the people. All of the time. What are hands for if not petting him and belly rubs?
  • Hanging out with friends (other dogs who like to play and older kids due to his size and energy level).
  • Making himself comfortable on your bed or couch.
  • Removing squeakers from all of his toys.
  • Taking time to smell the roses… or chase the butterflies. Same thing.
  • Going for car rides. Don’t mind the drool.
  • Pumping the iron! Just kidding. Mountain Jack doesn’t need to work on his strength.
Jack Dislikes::
  • Cats. Hard pass.
  • Not being the center of attention. Hello, handsome stranger over here!
  • Mountain Jack is a stray who was found (where else?) on Jack’s Mountain. He’s fully vetted, crate-trained, house-trained, and ready to find his home!

Jack is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, and on monthly flea/tick and  heartworm prevention.

Please consider adopting or fostering this young boy.
