Niko is a 6 month old part Husky/German Shepherd. He is pure white and very tall. Niko weighs in at 45lbs, but can stand to gain at least 10 more pounds. Niko is a very smart dog. He was tied to a tree his whole life and is adjusting well to living in a home. We are working hard on potty training. Niko has learned his name and knows the come and sit command. He is very gentle and not aggressive towards other dogs. We rarely hear Niko bark. Niko is the perfect gentleman and does not jump on people or furniture. He is a very relaxed, calm dog - - even the Vet said what a great temperment he has. Niko would make a great family dog and does very well with children of all ages.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
