Meet Paco Man – Our Resident Grumpy Old Man ❤️

Paco Man is a true legend in his own time. He’s a senior gent with strong opinions and zero interest in pretending otherwise. Petting? That’s on his terms only, thank you very much. He’ll let you know if and when you’re worthy of such an honor.

He is dearly loved by his foster mom and dad—actual saints walking among us—who accept him exactly as he is: cranky, quirky, and completely charming in his own “don’t touch me” kind of way. Even the grandkids know the drill: admire from a distance and don’t make direct eye contact.

Paco Man has osteomyelitis in his jaw and just a few teeth holding down the fort, but don’t be fooled—this little guy is still running the show in his forever foster home. He’s not "looking for love", just respect—and maybe a soft snack or two.

Donations toward Paco’s care help keep him healthy, comfortable, and gloriously grumpy for as long as he wants to be.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
